Blog Post #9

As this class draws to a close I prepare my last required blog entry for the semester, I have learned a great amount of information from this class that I hope to use in other classes and my future career as a high school physics/math teacher as well. We have explored various amounts of technology that can affect education and other aspects that may impact our professional lives as teacher. I have had fun interacting with other students in the classroom and learned different things from their own projects and input that I didn't focus on within my own assignments. I look forward to working with them in other classes and ultimately as peers in the classroom.

I reviewed The Credibility Challenge and was able to find a majority of the of the identifiable potential problems in dealing with certain falsies of content or credibility. I was able to discern the difference between the different web address types and varying levels of bias or opinion versus facts.  I would further recommend this type of challenge to be given in a classroom setting to my own students to be able to identify their own potential browsing habits and further their own opinions of reliable content.

  1. I've really enjoyed reading your insights and watching your presentations. I believe that as teachers we need to be students as well. I always learn something from every class and technology is a field that is constantly changing. Hopefully, you'll be able to integrate technology into your future lessons.
